International Customer Support Engineer in Manufacturing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a vital member of our customer support team, you will work under the guidance of the team leader to assist our clients and subsidiaries with Lectra's range of products, including cutting machines, plotters, quilting systems, software, and integrated solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the operational efficiency of Lectra equipment following installation.
To optimize the performance of Lectra systems, you will deliver remote assistance to effectively troubleshoot issues and execute proactive service measures in accordance with service agreements.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Receiving and evaluating customer inquiries, diagnosing issues, and providing remote solutions, including configuration adjustments, complete solution installations, and updates;
- Understanding client requirements and offering expert guidance to enhance application usage and operational efficiency;
- Documenting any issues that necessitate further testing or detailed analysis by our Research and Development teams;
- Monitoring customer-reported cases until resolution is achieved through our support platform;
- Proactively implementing upgrade initiatives and ensuring clients recognize the benefits of these services;
- Meeting and exceeding service commitments, such as response times and resolution rates, while ensuring customer satisfaction with the support provided.
All actions are aimed at maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with our service quality and the performance of our machines.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Holding a Bac+5 degree (Engineering School or equivalent), preferably in industrial engineering, electronics, mechanics, or production, you possess relevant professional experience, including internships or apprenticeships.
Your expertise includes:
- Proficiency in electronic and electrical applications, troubleshooting, and practical methodologies related to manufacturing and productivity;
- Familiarity with computer-aided manufacturing and/or robotics involving both software and hardware;
You demonstrate exceptional communication abilities and a strong service orientation. Your adaptability and analytical skills are crucial, particularly in addressing the needs of both external and internal clients.
Fluency in Romanian and English is required, with French being a plus.
