About the Role

Pierre Fabre Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Project Director to join our team. As a key member of our Project Management Office, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our projects and ensuring their successful execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of our global project strategy, providing expertise on best practices in project management.
  • Evaluate, implement, coordinate, and monitor project development plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring optimal functioning and implementation of project plans in line with our development strategy.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of projects from a scientific, regulatory, legal, technical, economic, and industrial perspective, in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Develop and propose contingency plans for risks and problem-solving strategies encountered during project development.
  • Develop and implement best practices in project management to ensure excellence in project execution, quality, and timeliness.
  • Communicate regularly on project progress to senior management, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Ensure collaboration with partners for co-development projects.
Requirements
  • PhD in a scientific field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management in pharmaceutical development.
  • Knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with teams.
  • Experience in presenting to senior management.

  • Presentation and communication skills, both within project teams and with senior management or partners.
  • Ability to convince, engage teams, and leadership.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken, written, and read).
  • Proficiency in office software and knowledge of project planning software (e.g., Planisware, MS Project).
  • Experience in budget tracking.
