We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer II to join our Release Management Unit and contribute to the development of Ansys Licensing as a Service (LaaS), a high-availability API service hosted on Azure.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, maintain, test, and document software modules and sub-systems
- Employ best practices and understand marketing requirements for products
- Perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products
- Work under the general supervision of a development manager
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2 years' experience or MS
- Strong computing skills with demonstrated knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON schemas, and sustainable development practices
- Technical knowledge and commercial experience with developing a distributed API service written in TypeScript using Node.JS as a framework in an Agile development environment
- Technical knowledge and commercial experience with OpenAPI specifications, Azure tools and resources
- Experience delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial organization
- Understanding of customer requirements and tools used in this domain
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly and collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
