Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Designer

Join our team at SABENA TECHNICS BGC - Aircraft Support & Operations as a Mechanical Engineering Designer. As a key member of our design office, you will be responsible for analyzing technical documentation, studying system installation, and offering technical solutions to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze technical documentation (aircraft, system) and study system installation
  • Offer technical solutions to answer customer requirements
  • Realize, if needed, 3D Mockup and A/C environment
  • Realize System Installation Drawing, Routing Drawing of A/C harness, and Definition Part Drawing
  • Produce Part List (with necessary parts/components for the modification)
  • Manage Definition Folder and archive project technical documentation
  • Support procurement team to find appropriate parts or alternate
  • Write Service Bulletin and Job Cards
  • Ensure technical documentation is provided to Tech Pub team for Manual Supplement (IPCs, AMMs, AWMs...)
  • Prepare and participate in internal & external meetings (ITCM, PDR, CDR)
  • Perform aircraft survey and provide technical support to MRO (on site or remotely) during retrofit
Requirements:
  • Minimum level: High School Degree with experience or BE and/or significant aircraft
  • Initial training in a design office (Superior Technician's Certificate - Industrial Product Design)
  • Technical and operational skills:
    • Aircraft Architecture
    • Aircraft maintenance documentation (IPC, AWM/WDM, AMM)
    • Requirement documentation
    • Aircraft system
    • Regulatory PART21J
    • Electrical Standard manual (ESPM, SWPM)
    • Aircraft Routing (ATA 23, 24, 25, 33, 34)
    • OEM knowledge (Airbus, Boeing, ATR...)
    • Industrial Design
  • Soft Knowledge & Skills:
    • CAO (CATIA V5)
    • MS Office
    • Fluent English
    • Writing skills
  • Relational skills and attitudes:
