Avionics Network Architect and Product Line Developer

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Computer Architect Product Line professional to join our Avionics Products Development department based in France.
You will be part of a team of approximately 15 people based in Toulouse, within the Avionics & Simulation Domain that is responsible for developing and maintaining Avionics Equipment and providing expertise for this perimeter.
The current context involves the development of several brand new computers based on product lines strategy, utilizing hardware and software bricks, while supporting existing avionics products and preparing for future avionic products.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for:
- Challenging specifications to ensure alignment with product line capabilities;
- Defining and negotiating compliance levels with product requirements;
- Defining product requirements, including performance, safety, quality, industrial, and environmental aspects;
- Animating trade-offs to select the best architecture with HW and SW architects;
- Allocating product requirements to HW, SW, and 'means' (e.g., test, production);
- Following up on product maturity throughout development and contributing to V&V prioritization activities and anomaly correction;
- Contributing to safety network analysis and demonstration for certification;
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Technologist, Electronic and Software Specialist to develop their expertise in this domain.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Strong experience in Electronic devices at Equipment or System level with proven experiences in both Hardware and Software;
- Experience with development such as FPGA, Microprocessors, Electronics board, embedded critical Software;
- Good understanding/knowledge of aeronautical stakes, e.g., Safety, reliability, value for customers, and certification standards (e.g., ARP4754, ARP5761, DO178, DO254, DO160,...);
- Good analysis/synthesis skills;
- Good communication, negotiation, and lead skills;
- A negotiation level of French and English is required.
