Avionics Computer Architect and Product Line Manager

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Computer Architect Product Line professional to join our Avionics Products Development department based in France.
You will be part of a team of approximately 15 people based in Toulouse, within the Avionics & Simulation Domain that is responsible for developing and maintaining Avionics equipment and providing expertise for this perimeter.
The current context involves the development of several brand new computers based on product lines strategy, utilizing hardware and software bricks, while supporting existing avionics products and preparing for future avionic products.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for:
- Challenging specifications to ensure alignment with product line capabilities;
- Defining and negotiating product requirements, including performance, safety, quality, industrial, and environmental aspects;
- Allocating product requirements to hardware, software, and other means;
- Following up on product maturity throughout development and contributing to verification and validation activities;
- Contributing to safety network analysis and demonstration for certification;
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Technologist or Electronic and Software Specialist to develop their expertise in this domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong experience in electronic devices at equipment or system level, with proven experience in both hardware and software;
- Experience with development of FPGA, microprocessors, electronics boards, and embedded critical software;
- Good understanding of aeronautical stakes, including safety, reliability, value for customers, and certification standards;
- Good analysis and synthesis skills;
- Good communication, negotiation, and leadership skills;
- A negotiation level of French and English is required.
