Your Role:

Key Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Manage follow-ups on demonstration requests and other marketing-qualified leads.
  • Oversee the complete sales cycle.
  • Identify key decision-makers among prospects, address critical business challenges, and generate interest.
  • Schedule product demonstrations while tracking all activities.
  • Facilitate a seamless transition to the Implementation team upon closing sales.
  • Maintain data integrity within the CRM system.
  • Enhance our inbound marketing efforts with insights from your local market.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings.
  • May require local in-person prospecting and travel.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in the hospitality or technology sectors.
  • Fluency in both French and English is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, particularly independent hotel operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills: You engage audiences effectively, customize presentations to meet specific needs, and build trust through clarity.

The hospitality industry is central to the RoomRaccoon narrative. Our founder, Nadja Buckenberger, faced numerous challenges when she opened the Bliss Boutique Hotel in 2014, struggling to find an affordable solution to manage her property. This experience led her to collaborate with tech entrepreneur Tymen van Dyl to create a comprehensive management system.

In 2016, Tymen began developing software to address Nadja's key challenges by integrating a Property Management System (PMS) with a channel manager and booking engine. This innovative solution significantly improved operations at the Bliss Hotel and attracted interest from other regional hotels.

Since our official launch in January 2017, we have grown rapidly, now serving as the most complete hotel management system for independent accommodations with 10 to 100 rooms.
