We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Specialist to join our Product Regulation team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping sustainable transport solutions for the future.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and maintain networks to prepare and anchor Volvo positions on CO2 regulation and battery durability.
- Work with regulatory agencies in EU and UN to influence the development of CO2 regulation and battery durability.
- Act as a Volvo representative within Manufacturers Associations to build consensus positions and secure Volvo's position in the industry.
- Support and understand CO2 and battery durability regulation development outside EU, highlighting deviations compared to the EU approach.
- Communicate internally about future regulatory development and potential associated risks, and provide input to Product Planning and Engineering Product owners to align product plans with regulations.
- Strong background and experience in the automotive sector in the field of fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions.
- Knowledge of CO2 regulations and ability to navigate EU/UN regulation development process.
- Experience in vehicle regulation development and ability to analyze/summarize texts to focus on key issues.
- Efficient negotiator with experience of finding compromise and strong ability to work in a global network.
