About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of process improvements and automation solutions in our warehouse operations. This will involve working closely with the Methods Manager to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing operational inefficiencies and developing corrective action plans
- Ensuring the smooth implementation of new stock management systems
- Participating in the deployment of new equipment and processes
- Assisting with the testing and validation of new software solutions (ERP, WMS/TMS, EXOTEC)
- Providing training to warehouse staff on new procedures
- Leading and monitoring the 5S program on site
- Continuously seeking opportunities to improve our working methods
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive documentation system for warehouse operations
About the Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in logistics and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering) and at least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Experience with WMS-TMS solutions (preferably Manhattan)
- Strong understanding of goods-to-person preparation systems and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
