Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Social Care Assistant. As a Social Care Assistant, you will provide personalized support to our clients, helping them with daily tasks, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals, as well as assist with grocery shopping
- Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
- Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Assist clients with medication management
- Document client progress and report any concerns to the care team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in care work or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move clients as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
