The Role
As a trusted advisor, you will significantly influence our clients' ability to maximize the benefits of cloud technology. You will design and implement strategies to enhance our clients' adoption and utilization of AWS services, which encompass a variety of products such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more.

Our Cloud Solutions Consultants collaborate with some of the most renowned businesses in the region, ranging from emerging startups to established enterprises undergoing substantial transformation. You will offer guidance on architecture, support strategies, project planning, and ongoing operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions, provide technical insights, and advocate for the client.
  • Ensure AWS environments maintain operational efficiency while minimizing costs and complexities.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients, comprehending their business requirements and technical hurdles.
  • Leverage your technical expertise and customer-centric approach to facilitate technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  • Consult with a diverse range of stakeholders, from developers to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  • With a proactive mindset, identify opportunities for clients to derive additional value from AWS.
  • Provide comprehensive reviews of service interruptions, monthly and quarterly metrics, and detailed pre-launch planning.
  • Address a variety of challenges as clients transition their workloads to the cloud.
  • Enhance client capabilities through workshops, training sessions, and other educational initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role such as Cloud Solutions Consultant, Technical Account Manager, or Systems Engineer.
  • Proficiency in operational parameters and troubleshooting for multiple domains including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Databases.
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing roles with the ability to communicate effectively to various audience sizes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English and French.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Programming or scripting skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby are advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a technical role within a startup environment is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
