MissionThe primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate the quality of various scrap metals prior to their classification, recycling, and distribution to the production facility. You will become part of the team as an Operations Assistant (h/f) following comprehensive training and guidance.
Responsibilities- Oversee customer transactions related to metal purchases (including weight and pricing)
- Process customer payments at the designated weighbridge
- Coordinate site operations, including opening and closing (in rotation with team members)
- Monitor daily stock levels of incoming and outgoing materials
- Ensure timely follow-up on quotations and invoicing
- Maintain effective communication with headquarters and on-site service providers
- Adapt to the sorting operator role as necessary
This position offers a permanent contract with a commitment of 39 hours per week, including shifts from Monday to Saturday morning (twice monthly).
Compensation ranges from 2000 to 2180 euros per month, depending on experience.
Additional benefits include a 13th-month salary (distributed 50% in June and 50% in December), a legal profit-sharing bonus equivalent to one month's salary, and 50% coverage of company health insurance along with CSE benefits.
