S'appuyant sur plus de 40 années de savoir-faire, et les compétences de 3 500 collaborateurs à travers le monde, la Business Unit (BU) Fuel développe, conçoit, fabrique et commercialise des assemblages de combustible ainsi que des services associés au combustible, pour les centrales de production d'électricité de type réacteur à eau légère (REP pour les réacteurs à eau sous pression et REB pour les réacteurs à eau bouillante) et les réacteurs de recherche.
La BU Fuel est également en charge de l'élaboration du zirconium et de ses alliages et commercialise aussi des services d'ingénierie et des services sur site associés au combustible.

Job Description

Framatome is implementing a modular plant for the assembly of fuels for the operation of nuclear power plants in the United Kingdom. This plant will be built in phases to meet short, medium and long-term objectives.

The investment project is led by Framatome and must be innovative to meet the challenges of the company and the United Kingdom.

Your mission is to support a project manager in the management of the project using the tools of the investment project management guide available within the Fuel BU; you will adapt them in the technical management plan that you will establish for the execution of the construction project of this plant (SMF) in the UK. You are responsible for setting up methodologies and managing the scope of the project inclusive of technical interfaces, configurations and requirements.

The project includes the creation of a local structure, and especially the management of interfaces with all stakeholders. The majority of the project activity will take place in the country where the site is located (expatriation) after a first phase in France with travel.

Industrial Architect Mission Description

The project is under the responsibility of the Industrial and Performance Department (IPD) of the Fuel BU and benefits from the expertise of its projects unit.

As part of your activities, you report to the IPD Project Manager.

This support to the project development from design to start of operation involves:

  • Propose the architecture of the system and its tree structure by considering the cost, risk and planning aspects.
  • Define the system specifications taking into account all the requirements, the verification and validation plan, and ensure the collection of proof related to these requirements,
  • Define the project life cycle and in particular the operation. Plan, prepare and conduct technical and system reviews,
  • Analyze request for changes of requirement during the project and analyze the impact of their integration within the project,
  • Study the return of experiences on the ongoing project(s) and operations, in order to adapt, if necessary, certain technical solutions,
  • Manage the configuration of input, performance and interfaces data,
  • Define the overall integration and commissioning plan, check that the sub-products assemble and that their mutual interfaces are checked,
  • Coordinate a multidisciplinary team ensuring overall technical consistency,
  • Ensure adequation of costs, planning, quality and safety with the support of the project control team,
  • Anticipate in the design all stages of the project, from manufacturing and construction to operation, and until decommissioning,
  • Represent the company to stakeholders on technical topics and support Framatome in relationships with administrative authorities.

Profile

Having a process engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering master (or equivalent) you have at least 10 years of experience, and are passionate about engineering techniques and sciences.

You have been a designer in several specialties, head of workpackage or technical coordinator or system manager on projects of industrial facilities (plant and lab, reactors, manufacturing) and you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical management of plant projects, multi-discipline buildings and complex processes as an owner, EPCM or integrator / general contractor.

You are familiar with system or project engineering frameworks.

You have knowledge of industrial projects and understanding of the nuclear (or regulated) context.

You have a natural leadership consolidated by your powerful technical base and know how to mobilize and motivate a team to achieve the defined objectives.

Your leadership and team management skills will enable you to successfully complete your missions.

Agile and with a transversal vision, you have real qualities of synthesis, tenacity and an objective/ results orientation. You necessarily enjoy working in team, project mode and are customer service oriented.

English: current level CEFR C1 (advanced) or C2 (bilingual) required.
