Role OverviewAs a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently serving food and beverages while ensuring a pleasant experience for guests.
- Maintaining punctuality and courtesy in all interactions with guests and colleagues.
- Mastering the coffee-making process to guarantee high-quality product delivery.
- Keeping all equipment and stock clean and organized to facilitate seamless service.
- Managing assigned sections to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Being knowledgeable about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Preparing various food items and expertly brewing coffee and tea.
- Understanding the pricing of all food and beverage items offered.
- Accurately processing charges through the cashiering system and addressing any discrepancies.
- Completing all opening and closing duties as directed.
- Reporting maintenance needs promptly to ensure a well-functioning environment.
- Performing additional tasks as required to meet operational demands.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage service.
- Strong barista skills, particularly in high-volume settings.
- Knowledge of food and beverage safety standards and relevant regulations.
- Competency in operating POS systems and performing transactions accurately.
- A friendly and positive demeanor.
