Job Title: Financial and Administrative Manager
Company: Aix-Marseille Université
Mission: As a Financial and Administrative Manager at Aix-Marseille Université, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative activities of the projects France FICCTION and Grande fabrique de l'image. Your key responsibilities will include managing project finances, analyzing budgets, tracking expenses, and monitoring revenue for project stakeholders. You will ensure smooth financial operations within the Financial Affairs Department and contribute to establishing quality and monitoring procedures for financial aspects.
Main Activities:
Financial and Budgetary Domain:
- Receive and process purchase orders, revenue requests, and mission orders from coordination teams
- Handle quotations, goods receipt, and order tracking from suppliers
- Enter financial operations into the software system
- Verify regulatory compliance, data accuracy, received document conformity, and proper application of procedures
- Interpret and enforce regulatory texts, control rule application, and procedures
- Provide practical information to users on accounting procedures, legislation updates, and implications
- Collaborate with the accounting agency for regularization operations under the SIFAC software
- Produce, analyze, and track financial reports for operational teams
Administrative and HR Domain:
- Participate in thematic workgroups and regulatory update meetings
- Monitor management activities within the structures
- Update databases, ensure operational regularity, and write reports
- Handle and resolve conflicts
Required Skills: The ideal candidate should have experience in operational financial management of funded projects, ideally within the French public research and university system. They should possess knowledge in financial operations, financial management tools, public finance regulations, general and state accounting rules, organizational functioning in public establishments, and Excel proficiency.
