Sustainability Manager F&B Job Description

Givaudan, the global leader in the creation of flavours and fragrances, is seeking a Sustainability Manager F&B to join its team. As a key member of the Fragrance & Beauty Division, you will play a crucial role in further translating Givaudan's sustainability agenda into plans for the Fragrance & Beauty Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with Divisional Partners: Collaborate with F&B Divisional partners to bring Givaudan's corporate purpose to life and cement Givaudan's position as customer partner of choice.
  2. Represent the Fragrance & Beauty Division: Represent the Fragrance & Beauty Division within the Givaudan Sustainability strategy and engage and collaborate with F&B Divisional partners on Sustainability topics.
  3. Translate Givaudan's Sustainability Agenda: Determine the translation of Givaudan's purpose and sustainability agenda into specific F&B Divisional Business plans with a clear roadmap.
  4. Lead Sustainability Projects: Lead the implementation of selected Sustainability projects in cooperation with the nominated team members across Divisions and Functions.
  5. Engage with Customers: Collaborate with team members to respond to customer inquiries on Sustainability based on latest company positions and a forward-looking view of emerging trends and market needs.

Requirements:

  1. Master's Degree: Master's degree in a technical field like engineering or sustainability studies.
  2. Experience: 5-7 years experience in a Global business environment - experience in area of Sustainability Strategy / Sustainability Product Innovation / Technical or other Corporate Social Responsibility.
  3. Language Skills: Fluent English, French language knowledge is a plus.
  4. Skills: Autonomous and comfortable with cross-functional set-ups, ambiguity, excellent project management skills, coordination and facilitation skills, passion for sustainability and a belief in how businesses can make a positive contribution to a better future.
