Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Pricing Actuary to join our Group Chief Underwriting Office as part of our Pricing Team. As a Pricing Actuary, you will be responsible for contributing to market-leading technical pricing in P&C Commercial Lines, participating in pricing technical reviews, and executing thorough reviews of pricing strategies, adequacy, governance, tools, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of pricing strategies for P&C Commercial Lines products
- Participate in pricing technical reviews and execute thorough reviews of pricing strategies, adequacy, governance, tools, and more
- Support portfolio management processes through initial buildout to metrics validations, strategic plan, and actions' validation to achieve desired profitability for Group P&C Commercial Lines products
- Enforce the execution of the pricing policy, including best practices and technical standards for governance
- Work closely with Group Underwriting, Operations, and Centers of Excellence to implement the Pricing Technical Excellence Plan
- Address regulatory pricing topics related to Group P&C Commercial Lines products and develop action plans to respond to legal and regulatory changes and ensure fairness
- Stay abreast of and communicate knowledge of industry changes, specifically changes that affect pricing
- Share expertise on product pricing
- Engage closely with members of CUO, Entity Underwriting, and Pricing members, Reserving, TDO, and Finance to improve pricing accuracy and overall business performance
- Data Scientist, Associate Actuary, or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience
- Commercial Lines P&C Pricing experience is a plus
- Knowledge of tools like Akur8, Earnix, Dataiku is a plus
- Experience interacting with experts and evolving in matrixed environments
- Experience in driving change and building relationships
- Experience in working in multicultural and multifaced geographically diverse teams
- Expertise on product pricing methodologies, including pricing algorithms, pricing optimization, and advanced pricing/modeling techniques
- Proficient use of traditional data processing and analysis tools: Python, R, SQL, PowerBI...
