Urban Planning Service Manager

As the Urban Planning Service Manager at Ville de Tremblay-en-France, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the development and implementation of urban planning strategies. This is a key role in shaping the future of our city and ensuring that our urban development is sustainable, efficient, and beneficial to our citizens.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement urban planning policies and strategies that align with the city's vision and goals.
- Lead a team of urban planners, architects, and engineers in the development and review of urban planning projects.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that urban planning initiatives are integrated with other city initiatives.
- Ensure that urban planning projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including citizens, businesses, and community groups.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest urban planning trends, technologies, and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in urban planning, architecture, or a related field. You will also need to have experience in leading teams and managing projects. Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in urban planning, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in urban planning, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, policies, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
