Job Summary:We're looking for a skilled and motivated individual to manage the maintenance of our utility-scale solar PV facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring maximum facility production, and providing subject matter expertise in operations and maintenance.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the area field staff, organizing day-to-day activities within established operating procedures.
- Manage scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, including full PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
- Manage corrective maintenance tasks, both scheduled and unscheduled, at each facility.
- Review and finalize technician reports for PM and CM activities.
- Own the CMMS KPI performance for the area.
- Provide subject matter expertise in all areas of operations and maintenance.
- Manage field investigations to support predictive analytics, root cause analysis, and serial defect reports.
- Assist in creating and reviewing preventative and corrective maintenance SOPs, schedules, and checklists.
- Interface with 3rd party contractors and O&M providers as directed by management.
- Advanced skills with computers and electronic equipment required.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat required.
- Expert knowledge of NEC, NFPA70E, and OSHA standards.
- Valid Driver's License Required.
- OSHA 30 (must be obtained within 4 weeks of employment).
- CPR/BLS (must be obtained within 4 weeks of employment).
- State electrical license or NABCEP certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in the electrical trade, electrical maintenance, multicraft maintenance, or the completion of a recognized apprenticeship program required.
- 2+ years of experience in utility scale solar PV operations and maintenance required.
- 1+ years of experience in managing and leading utility scale solar PV operations and maintenance teams preferred.
