Role – Senior Financial Consultant

We are in search of a seasoned Financial Consultant to become a part of our team for a transformative implementation of SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in financial accounting, particularly in the domains of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and the financial closing cycle. This position necessitates a profound comprehension of global financial regulations and standards, exceptional analytical abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
- Implementation and Configuration:
- Spearhead the implementation and configuration of SAP S/4HANA FI modules, emphasizing AR, AP, and financial closing processes.
- Create and document comprehensive business processes and system requirements. - Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to collect and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to international financial regulations.
- Convert business needs into functional specifications and system designs. - System Integration and Testing:
- Partner with technical teams to guarantee seamless integration of FI modules with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Develop and implement thorough test plans to validate system functionality and performance. - Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure the establishment of robust financial reporting frameworks to facilitate accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Guarantee compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and other regulatory mandates. - Training and Support:
- Design and deliver end-user training and support materials to ensure successful adoption of the new system.
- Provide ongoing assistance and troubleshooting to resolve issues and enhance system performance. - Collaboration and Communication:
- Work in conjunction with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to comprehend data requirements and business processes.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the FI Track, including issues and risks, to project management and stakeholders.
- Asset Accounting and Treasury:
- Familiarity with Asset Accounting processes from both configuration and reporting perspectives is advantageous.
- As the FI Lead, support for Treasury processes, particularly from an integration standpoint, is expected. Knowledge of integration with Bank Portals through middleware would be beneficial. - Language Proficiency:
- Proficiency in both French and English is required.
