Job Overview:
As a Cloud Migration Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will cultivate technical partnerships with clients across various sectors, crafting innovative strategies to expedite their transition to the cloud.
Your Role:
You will serve as a trusted consultant, guiding customers through each phase of their cloud journey to maximize their cloud investment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with senior leadership and technical teams to drive enhanced agility and substantial business outcomes through effective migration to AWS.
- Managing the technical rapport between AWS and clients, offering insights on security, cost management, performance optimization, reliability, and operational efficiency to facilitate large-scale migration initiatives.
- Acting as the customer advocate within AWS, communicating their requirements to influence the development of AWS features.
- Collaborating with major enterprises to support their migration assessment and strategic planning.
Innovation and Knowledge Sharing:
In this position, you will harness your creativity to connect technology with practical solutions, with the chance to establish cloud-native reference architectures tailored to diverse applications.
You will also contribute to the development and dissemination of best practices, technical documentation, and new reference architectures (such as white papers, code samples, and blog articles), while promoting and educating others about AWS technologies through various channels, including workshops, user groups, and public speaking engagements.
Key Qualifications:
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and French.
- Expertise in infrastructure architecture, database design, zero-downtime migrations, IT security, data center operations, cloud operating models, and software development.
- Experience in customer-facing roles or positions involving public speaking.
