Position: Childcare Center Manager

The Childcare Center Manager serves as a vital link within the community, upholding departmental standards and overseeing the establishment's vision. This role encompasses the organization of child and family services, ensuring a welcoming environment. The Manager, alongside their Deputy, is responsible for the comprehensive management of the center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Educational Framework of the Childcare Center, manage daily operations, and spearhead special initiatives. Ensure high standards of pedagogical practice.
  • Coordinate the attendance of children to maximize enrollment and revenue while addressing family needs. Establish guidelines for staff presence to maintain required child supervision ratios and ensure continuity of care.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, providing leadership and oversight to all center staff. Organize regular meetings and delineate responsibilities among the Deputy Manager and administrative staff.
  • Work with the team to define parental involvement in the center, facilitate effective communication with families, encourage their engagement in center activities, and implement necessary support initiatives for parents.
  • Oversee facility management, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and hygiene standards, as well as optimal working conditions for staff. Ensure the proper maintenance of the premises and equipment, and coordinate medical protocols with healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the broader strategic initiatives and projects of the Childcare Services sector. Build partnerships and coordinate efforts with both internal and external stakeholders, representing the Department effectively.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate holds a State Diploma in Childcare Nursing or, depending on the facility's size, may also be a qualified nurse or early childhood educator.
