About the Role

The Front Desk Receptionist at Pullman Paris Montparnasse is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless experience for our VIP guests throughout their stay. This includes greeting guests upon arrival, checking them in and out, and providing information and assistance as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be fully aware of daily arrivals and departures
  • Welcoming guests warmly and with a smile upon arrival
  • Processing guest arrivals and departures in accordance with hotel procedures and credit rules
  • Responding to guest requests and ensuring they feel taken care of
  • Using creativity to propose new ideas to improve guest experience, increase sales, and enhance customer loyalty
  • Handling guest billing, payment processing, and credit control
  • Providing service debits for guests within established credit limits
  • Managing daily cash handling and maintaining accurate records
  • Recognizing and catering to regular guests' needs
  • Handling phone calls, correspondence, and messages, and ensuring their timely transmission
  • Familiarizing guests with the ALL program and promoting it
  • Preparing daily control reports for the Hotel Manager and reporting any discrepancies

Requirements

  • Hotel diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5-star hotel
  • Fluency in French and excellent English language skills
  • Knowledge of a third language (Chinese, Mandarin, Spanish, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and/or PMS software
  • Leadership skills: positive orientation, customer passion promotion
  • Collaborative leadership: teamwork spirit, communication, facilitation
  • Entrepreneurial leadership: problem-solving, operational initiative-taking
