Job Overview
As a key member of the Fixed Wings & Military Helicopters division at Raytheon Technologies, the Value Stream Leader (VSL) is responsible for guiding the Integrated Program Team (IPT) throughout the entire lifecycle of fixed wing and military helicopter initiatives across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EuMEA) regions. This role encompasses business development, program execution, and customer support, with a strong emphasis on achieving sales and profitability targets.
Ideal candidates will possess a robust background in avionics systems and project management, demonstrating experience in leading complex product or system development projects. Successful applicants will exhibit strategic insight and critical thinking skills to address intricate challenges, while effectively balancing technical expertise with business acumen to oversee assigned programs.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with an international Integrated Program Team (IPT) on Pursuit & Order Capture (P&OC), focusing on key requirements, competitive analysis, customer engagement strategies, and related actions. Facilitate decision-making processes for the IPTs, applying critical thinking in situations with incomplete information. Build and maintain internal and external networks, effectively communicating and motivating team members. Articulate the vision for the IPT to stakeholders both within and outside the organization. Oversee international programs to ensure compliance with program plans, timelines, and budgets, while recommending necessary adjustments to meet financial, contractual, and performance objectives. Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure seamless program execution, including Program Management Reviews, scope monitoring, negotiations, milestone achievements, cash collection, and sales forecasting. Identify and nurture opportunities with customers to enhance market share. Monitor and report progress against financial goals internally. Lead program status reviews for senior leadership and executive teams as required. Assist in the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic & Financial Plan (S&FP).Qualifications
Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in business engineering and/or Program Management. Proficiency in English is required.Competencies & Skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities. Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with military avionics systems. Excellent communication skills across all levels. Familiarity with Project/Program Management in the aviation sector. Multi-functional program experience. Strong critical thinking and conflict management skills.
