Transformative Financial Leadership Opportunity

At HRS GmbH, we are seeking an exceptional Vice President Finance to lead our financial transformation and drive strategic growth. As a key member of our executive team, you will oversee Accounting, Treasury, and Accounts Receivable, ensuring the application of global standards across our Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the accounting, treasury, and tax teams, shaping our financial strategy and ensuring compliance with global standards.
  • Oversee the accounting and preparation of monthly and annual accounts for all global subsidiaries, collaborating with colleagues, management, auditors, and tax lawyers.
  • Establish internal control policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for Group Consolidation and preparation of the consolidated Group Accounts.
  • Maintain a strong and efficient AR system from billing to dunning.
  • Play a vital role in enhancing our global accounting and ERP environment, setting standards, and ensuring proper application.
  • Analysis, management, and optimization of KPIs, processes, and infrastructure in your area of responsibility.
  • Optimize reporting and cash flow forecasting using an integrated Data Lake approach to predict cash needs with 1% variance.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, such as auditors, tax advisors, banks, etc.
  • Conduct impairment testing for foreign entities and subsidiaries.
  • Enhance monthly closing, forecasting, and budget planning.
  • Implement advanced accounting and treasury technologies.
  • Lead accounting standards and process transformations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or Management Accountant certification.
  • Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role, preferably in a tech/SaaS or fast-growing company.
  • Background from a consultancy and/or accounting firm, with several years of experience in Group Accounting / Consolidation.
  • Highly accomplished subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge in IFRS and HGB, ERP Systems (SAP), and consolidation tools.
  • Demonstrated hands-on approach with attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, pragmatic decision-making, and a proven record in leading team and process transformations.
  • Strong leadership, with a proven ability to lead distributed teams and get things done.
  • Fluent in German and English, spoken and written.
