Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and revenue for the Arbitration practice in Continental Europe.
  • Work collaboratively with lawyers within the practice to compose and manage compelling proposals, including pitches, RFP responses, and other opportunities to win work for the regional practice group.
  • Produce and manage practice group content, campaigns, and events to increase engagement with key clients and enhance the personal brands of leading practitioners and the firm's global reputation.
  • Leverage marketing technology and tools to identify opportunities to develop existing clients and services, track key relationships, and measure the success of initiatives.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior internal stakeholders and contribute to the firm's approach to business development.
  • Participate in an agile and responsive bespoke service model based on mutual respect and appreciation of skillsets across the team.

Requirements:

  • Significant business development experience in an international law firm or another consulting environment.
  • Fluent French and English, excellent writing skills in both languages.
  • Ability to work independently on own initiative, but also with strong teamworking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize actions, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with attention to detail in grammar and proofreading.
  • Natural curiosity and propensity to learn; enthusiasm to grow into a rounded business development practitioner.
