Senior Automation Technician

Position: Automation and Industrial IT Technician
Reporting to the A2I Manager (Automation and Industrial IT) for the East Region, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting operational systems.
Maintenance and Operational Support - A2I domain:
- Adjust programs in response to system malfunctions or provide temporary solutions
- Revise programs to accommodate process changes
- Update software and/or firmware to address security issues
- Modify communication links as necessary
- Assist A2I Agencies in executing level 1 Maintenance in Operational Conditions tasks
- Maintain up-to-date inventory, documentation, and backups - log actions in the A2ITOOLS system
Project Execution / A2I domain responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary studies and formalize functional analyses in collaboration with operators
- Program automation systems, install, and configure communication devices
- Oversee commissioning processes
- Engage in supervisory programming (notably Topkapi) and configure databases (AQUACALC)
For all assigned tasks:
- Manage various project components (schedule, deadlines, budget, etc.)
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset
- Document actions in the A2ITTOOLS inventory
You will also be responsible for on-call duties as per the established schedule.
Your Qualifications
A degree in Automation/Industrial IT/Regulation at BAC+2/3 level is required, along with relevant experience in a similar role.
Desired Skills:
- Expertise in programming automation systems (Schneider and SIEMENS)
- Proficiency in programming teletransmitters (SOFREL, PERAX, INJINUS, etc.)
- Familiarity with supervisory tools (Home/machine Interface, TOPKAPI Supervision, PCWIM)
- Skills in configuring communication and network equipment (Industrial networks, IP systems, 3G/4G, GSM Radio, RTC, routers, switches, etc.)
- Understanding of electrical installations
- Knowledge of safety regulations
A valid driver's license is essential.
