Quality Assurance Supervisor in the Renewable Energy Sector
Fortil is on the lookout for a skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to enhance our quality control team within the renewable energy industry. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality assurance, ensuring that all products meet compliance and quality benchmarks prior to their transition to project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the final inspection of nacelles in collaboration with other departmental leaders.
- Execute inspections in accordance with established specifications.
- Propose enhancements to inspection checklists based on evaluative feedback.
- Assist the manufacturing team in improving block inspections and provide necessary training.
- Encourage knowledge exchange among project stakeholders.
- Lead technical discussions and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Keep meticulous records of quality-related issues and client feedback.
- Document, assess, and address non-conformities identified during inspections.
- Accompany client representatives during inspection processes when required.
- Manage quality documentation and communicate any project-related challenges.
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies, reporting any incidents promptly.
- Identify potential risks and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure the nacelle's compliance and quality before it is handed over.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in general engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in quality inspection roles.
- Thorough understanding of current industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Certifications relevant to offshore operations.
- Proficient in English at a professional level.
