Your Responsibilities
As a Railway Procurement Specialist, your primary duty will be to oversee the procurement processes related to railway tracks, ensuring alignment with the company's purchasing guidelines, quality benchmarks, and financial objectives.
Key Duties
- Portfolio Management: Develop a comprehensive overview of your purchasing categories.
- Market Analysis: Cultivate in-depth market knowledge in the railway track sector, pinpoint optimal procurement strategies, and identify avenues for value creation.
- Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams to ascertain requirements, assess risks and opportunities, and propose effective procurement strategies.
- Procurement Execution: Execute procurement strategies, streamline processes, negotiate agreements, and nurture supplier relationships.
- Performance Evaluation: Monitor procurement efficiency and provide reports on purchasing performance.
Your Qualifications
- Possession of an Engineering degree focused on Purchasing.
- Familiarity with product/service categories across various functional roles.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- 1 to 3 years of pertinent experience.
