At Alstom, we're a global leader in the transport industry, and we're looking for a skilled Train Functional Architect to join our team in Haguenau, France.
The Train Functional Architect will play a crucial role in designing and developing the control systems for our rolling stock, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of system design, analysis, and configuration management.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and develop functional requirements for train control systems, ensuring they meet safety and availability performance standards.
- Design and develop functional train architectures, concepts, and design solutions, including command and control systems, low-voltage design, and software solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure key decisions regarding functional architectures, concepts, and system technologies are made in a timely manner.
- Develop and issue complete and correct sets of functional specifications and interfaces for projects.
- Verify and tune functional design through simulation, using model-based methodologies and simulation tools.
- Contribute to train functional integration validation, defining means of proof and elaborating test specifications.
- Prepare and report project progress, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for functional architectures, software specification, development, and validation.
