The Enterprise Risk Manager - Capital and Business Risk Expert will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the company's overall risk management and risk governance framework. This includes ensuring that risk management activities are conducted in a manner compliant with regulatory requirements and expectations.
The role will involve aggregating and reporting on key risk management and oversight activities to the Senior Management and Risk Committees. Additionally, the Enterprise Risk Manager will be responsible for formalizing the Risk taxonomy, Risk identification, Emerging Risk scanner, and Risk Materiality assessment.
The outcome of these activities will be consumed for Risk Management Framework and strategic processes like Risk Appetite, SREP, ICAAP/ILAAP, Stress Test, and Regulatory Disclosures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and drive critical reviews and challenges of ICAAP deliverables as a 2LoD opinion on the different components such as Governance, Capital Adequacy, Capital planning, and Capital Stress testing scenarios and methodology.
- Work on interactions between ICAAP/ILAAP and other strategic processes to encompass SREP requirements.
- Participate and develop the stress testing framework, ensuring adherence to Société Générale Group guidelines and consistency with ICAAP & ILAAP frameworks.
- Challenge assumptions and decisions relating to Stress Test scenarios regarding Budget, Capital, and Liquidity to ensure sound capital and liquidity management.
- Coordinate the annual update of Stress Testing Framework, including Stress Testing Scenario Development and Integrated Stress Testing results.
- Knowledge of prudential regulations and ability to translate regulatory requirements for implementation within strategic processes and projects.
- Participate in Annual and quarterly reporting for supervisory management.
- Draft and implement Capital and Stress Test framework and policies.
- Write propositions, 2LOD opinions, and synthesize notes for Senior Management and Regulators.
- Ability to drive and participate in complex projects, such as CRD IV gap analysis, with various stakeholders and capacity to share and defend the viewpoint of ERM as a 2nd line of defense.
