Senior Commercial Manager

Altrad Babcock is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to join our team and contribute to the delivery of innovative projects in the Major Projects sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project operations and ensure commercial activities align with strategic objectives
  • Manage a broader commercial team and internal/external stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
  • Review contract change control processes and ensure alignment with contract requirements
  • Prepare applications for payments and final accounts in accordance with contract terms
  • Liaise with legal and corporate commercial services on commercial and contracting policies, insurance bonds, and guarantees
  • Ensure commercial delivery of EPC projects, focusing on increased efficiencies, cost savings, and margin optimization

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of financial statements and metrics
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage resources
  • Experience in commercially managing projects from inception to completion
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting and risk management
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in quantity surveying or related field, with experience in EPC projects
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and manage teams
