Due to growth within our Major Projects sector, we have an opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to join us and contribute to innovative projects that present creative and technical challenges. As a key member of our team, you will be part of a supportive work environment that encourages skill development and career growth.
The appointed Commercial Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing project operations and ensuring that our commercial activities are aligned with our strategic objectives. This requires the ability to manage a broader commercial team and both internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Altrad Babcock is a specialist in the delivery of engineering, construction, aftermarket and upgrade services to hydrogen, clean energy, nuclear, oil & gas, petrochemical and process sectors. Using the latest technologies, best-in-class engineering expertise and an industry-leading project management capability, we build, maintain and extend the life of customer assets worldwide.
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing contract change control processes and ensuring they align with contract requirements. You will also prepare applications for payments in accordance with contract terms and prepare final accounts. Additionally, you will liaise with legal and corporate commercial services on matters relating to commercial and contracting policies, insurance bonds and guarantees.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of financial statements and metrics. You will also be required to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage resources, as well as have experience in commercially managing projects from inception to completion and be proficient in financial forecasting and risk management.
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in BSc Quantity Surveying or related degree, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in quantity surveying. You should also have experience in EPC projects and strong leadership skills to inspire and manage teams.

Requirements:
