About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Talent Program Manager to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the various logistics functions of our platform, including receipt of goods, order preparation, and shipment of goods to our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of logistics staff, including logistics coordinators, team leaders, and operators, to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations with other business functions.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective logistics services.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of improving logistics efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex logistics data and develop effective solutions.
  • Fluency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
