Lead and Develop a High-Performing Logistics Team at Lidl
As a Logistics Department Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics platform. You'll be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the logistics process, from goods reception to order preparation and shipment to our supermarkets.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of approximately 100 employees, including Logistics Sector Managers, Logistics Team Managers, and Logistics Operators. This involves organizing tasks, managing schedules, recruitment, integration, training, and performance evaluations.
- Provide reliable reporting on your department's activities to the Regional Logistics Manager.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal procedures, safety standards, and deadlines for delivering high-quality supplies to our supermarkets.
- Proactively address any on-site issues by implementing effective action plans.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a decisive and proactive individual with strong leadership and communication skills. You should be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
