Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Materials Engineer to join our Packaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing quality improvement plans for our suppliers' packaging.

Your primary objectives will include:

  • Supporting technicians in handling quality complaints from suppliers
  • Developing and executing plans to eliminate losses over the next 6 months
  • Collaborating with suppliers to implement their improvement plans
  • Monitoring supplier actions and visiting them to maintain relationships and assess the effectiveness of their actions
  • Managing and coordinating the supply chain in the event of material quality issues
  • Communicating the progress of the improvement plan to other departments
  • Leading the packaging team's daily prioritization meeting

This role will involve project management, and if you have experience, you may be assigned to lead projects from the start.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree or university Master's with a specialization in packaging/materials
  • A proven ability to work as part of a cohesive and efficient team
  • Proactive thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal, to interact with suppliers and other departments in France and abroad
