Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hedge Fund Consultant who embodies an entrepreneurial mindset, combined with robust analytical capabilities in the financial sector. This position is designed for individuals who can seamlessly integrate detailed hedge fund evaluations with strategic business growth initiatives, supported by a profound understanding of diverse asset classes and financial landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
Your diverse responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Growth Initiatives: Cultivating relationships, identifying, and expanding new and existing investment management avenues while strengthening our current portfolio.
- Client Engagement: Interacting with a wide range of institutional clients and prospects worldwide, managing investment relationships, and developing partnership proposals.
- Collaboration with Financial Experts: Communicating effectively with Traders, Quants, and Portfolio Managers to identify and select suitable strategies for clients.
- Quantitative Analysis: Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of all asset classes and providing insightful analysis to clients and traders.
- Research & Insights: Conducting thorough research on companies, investment strategies, and funds to ensure our methods and partnerships remain ahead of market trends.
- Team Leadership: Leading a focused team, instilling a global perspective, and driving key performance indicators to enhance our strategic and operational effectiveness.
- Risk Assessment: Collaborating with analysts and traders to understand market dynamics and implementing qualitative and quantitative risk management strategies.
- Brand Development: Overseeing marketing strategies, ensuring global brand recognition, and managing both external and internal communication materials.
- Investment Oversight: Engaging in hedge fund research and due diligence, ensuring our strategies align with investor requirements and market conditions.
- Client Relationship Management: Actively participating in client discussions and reviews, aligning our strategies to support their business objectives.
Candidate Profile:
- Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in financial markets, particularly in hedge funds and business development, complemented by a foundational knowledge of trading and quantitative strategies.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to guide a team towards achieving and surpassing key performance indicators, with a strong inclination towards fostering an entrepreneurial culture.
- Effective Communication: Proficient in engaging with various stakeholders, from Fund Managers to Investors, crafting actionable plans and objectives.
- Networking Expertise: A well-established network within the industry, with a successful track record in managing the sales process to closure and building essential relationships.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability to conduct in-depth research, analyze market participants, and intuitively identify investment opportunities.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with databases and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
