About the Role

Europcar Mobility Group is seeking a skilled Legal Operations Specialist to join its Compliance Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading project management, preparing and implementing key compliance policies and processes, and managing compliance-initiated projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and maintain standard operating processes for the compliance team
  • Manage compliance-initiated projects, including third-party assessment and internal projects
  • Support Business Units' requests on a daily basis
  • Train and educate Business Units on Legal and Compliance processes, and maintain related KPIs
  • Develop and monitor key function metrics and ensure best planning for resources
  • Help manage vendors and law firms, including budgeting, monitoring of spend, and RFPs
  • Work with the Legal team on IT tools and efficient use of Artificial intelligence, software tools to increase efficiency, lower costs, and minimize risk in partnership with IT teams

Internal and External Relationships

  • Internal: businesses of Europcar Mobility Group, particularly with the DPO/GDPR champions network and the compliance network
  • External: services providers and consulting firms

Requirements

  • Experience in complex project management in a global environment, particularly in workflow management
  • Experience of developing legal operations in a truly global company
  • Experience of working as an in-house or compliance officer, with a minimum of 5 years
  • Knowledge of legal operations tools and best practices
  • Ability to work in an agile environment

Language and Computer Skills

  • Fluent English (working language)
  • Google's Office Suite
