As a key member of the management team, you will report directly to the Director of Concrete in the Ile-de-France region. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the quality standards of produced concrete, ensuring adherence to company procedures, industry standards, and budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the Quality department, collaborating closely with Laboratory Managers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide technical assistance to sales teams in project negotiations and validate contractual agreements.
- Ensure the technical viability of concrete solutions, considering both internal and external operational constraints.
- Manage the resolution of disputes with customers or suppliers, following established procedures, including liaising with the Group risk/insurance department and engaging experts as necessary.
- Participate in the creation and implementation of training programs related to concrete product knowledge and regulatory updates.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance documentation, including the Quality Assurance Manual and technical files, ensuring they are updated in response to changes in standards or audit feedback.
- Supervise the technical aspects of NF certification files, maintaining relationships with relevant committees and responding to audits.
- Ensure the reliability of quality controls and testing conducted at production sites.
- Optimize material costs while striving for the best quality-to-cost ratio.
- Contribute to the selection of raw material suppliers based on quality, pricing, and cost implications.
The ideal candidate will possess a technical background with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. A strong understanding of concrete and materials, along with proficiency in office software, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate autonomy, proactivity, and a willingness to communicate in English.
