As part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing nature-based solutions for urban environments.
Your Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth research on technical aspects related to nature-based solutions, climate resilience, and biodiversity conservation within urban settings.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documents outlining wildlife habitat creation strategies and differentiated management plans for urban ecosystems.
- Actively participate in BREEAM/HQE/Biodivercity and Effinature certification processes, ensuring adherence to sustainability standards.
- Oversee the operational monitoring of ecological construction sites, guaranteeing compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
- Contribute to regulatory files, including protected species derogations, impact assessments, and wetland evaluations, supporting project approvals.
- Provide technical support to the biodiversity department on various projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with our naturalists in conducting fieldwork for fauna and flora inventories, contributing to ecological data collection and analysis.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong academic background in Environment/Ecology (Master's degree, Engineer or equivalent) and proven experience in conducting studies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nature-based solutions and their application in urban contexts.
- Comprehensive understanding of general ecology principles and biodiversity conservation strategies.
- Proficiency in QGis software is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise report writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for short missions within France.
