Job Title: Installation Project Supervisor

Role Overview:

The Installation Project Supervisor will oversee all activities related to Civil, Structural, and Architectural scope, including groundworks, civil, piling, foundations, structural steel, buildings, building services, building finishes, cladding, roofing, grouting, site finishes, and roads.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Civil, Structural, and Architectural Works: Oversee groundworks, piling, foundations, structural steel, buildings, building services, building finishes, cladding, roofing, grouting, site finishes, and road construction.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all works comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed, ensuring it meets project specifications and standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and procedures on site to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Schedule Management: Monitor project timelines and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, inspections, and any changes to plans.

On-site presence is required in the Normandy region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in supervising civil, structural, and architectural works within industrial or construction projects. A degree or equivalent further education qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is required. Strong knowledge of groundworks, piling, foundations, structural steel, buildings, building services, finishes, cladding, roofing, grouting, and road construction is essential. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations is also required. Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment is essential. Preferred certifications include advanced construction techniques, safety management, and quality control. A valid CCNSG Safety Passport or Construction Safety Competence Scheme (CSCS) card is also desirable. Additional training in IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH Certificate, or equivalent is preferred. Language requirements include fluency in English.
