Eco-Friendly Project Coordinator

PMM Professional Workforce Solution Group, a strategic partner offering efficient workforce solutions across Europe and the Middle East, is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to oversee environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives for a landmark energy infrastructure modernization project in Corsica.

This senior role ensures adherence to environmental principles, company ESG policies, and local regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing environmental compliance and ensuring activities align with company HSE policies.

• Environmental Compliance: Oversee environmental compliance and ensure activities align with company HSE policies.
• Environmental Management Plan: Prepare and monitor the Environmental Management Plan and associated procedures.
• Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with local and national regulatory bodies on permitting and compliance matters.
• Waste Management: Ensure proper waste collection, transport, and disposal according to local regulations and project policies.
• Incident Investigation: Coordinate environmental incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement programs for continuous environmental performance improvement.
• Training and Support: Provide environmental training to emergency response teams, including oil spill preparedness.

To excel in this role, candidates must have:

• Language Skills: Fluency in French (mandatory) and professional proficiency in English.
• Qualifications: A recognized qualification in Environmental Management (e.g., IEMA, ISO 14001) with an engineering background preferred.
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience in the oil and energy industry, including 5 years in an environmental coordination role.
• Familiarity with Permits and Incident Analysis: Familiarity with environmental permitting processes and incident analysis.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation skills.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in business software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
