About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Product Marketing Intern to join our team in EMEA. As a Product Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on the launch of Balmain Beauty in EMEA, learn about the luxury and beauty industry, and work with a multicultural and multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Product Marketing Manager in coordinating product assortment, launch guidelines, and delivery of lab samples and shipments to affiliates.
- Coordinate market sample processes at the regional level, supporting product delivery and coordinating needs between affiliates and Global supply teams.
- Conduct deep dive analysis on competitive launches, products, or subcategories in the fragrance industry to identify opportunities and provide relevant insights.
- Conduct in-store execution checks (store visits) for both Balmain and competition.
- Participate in and help develop presentations for regional meetings with brand teams and/or retailers.
- Provide direct support to local teams in EMEA affiliates for product marketing-related queries.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Creation of a launch report template to consolidate brand launch performance reports from affiliates and provide insights.
- Creation of a monthly retail sales tracker to consolidate sell-out data by affiliate and provide insights.
- Monthly NPD market analysis to review the Balmain brand and identify opportunities.
Qualifications:
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 internships work experience, a higher education level (Bac 5 from a business school or university), and a strong interest in the cosmetics sector. Previous relevant marketing experience is a plus. Fluency in English (language of work) and the ability to speak French are required. Other European languages are a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, including Microsoft 365 Office programs, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
- Organized, detail-oriented, curious, and independent.
