NTU International A/S is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead a consortium for a new EU funded project PRIDA Digital Africa II. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to support the African Union Commission (AUC) in accelerating the implementation of the Digital Transformation Strategy for Africa (AU DTS) at continental level.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICT and digital transformation, with experience in project management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement. They will be able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including governmental bodies, industry partners, and civil society organizations.
The key qualifications and skills required for this role include:
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline
- Advanced level English or French (at least C1)
- Strong experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring
- Leadership skills, with experience in heading a team of experts
- Excellent report writing skills in English
- At least 10 years' experience in the field of ICT, preferably with a focus on digital transformation in Africa
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the development and implementation of digital transformation projects
- Experience of leading at least 1 digital transformation project, and experience of developing and shaping ICT policies to support digital transformation
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the AU institutional setting and the Digital Transformation Strategy for Africa. They will also be able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including governmental bodies, industry partners, and civil society organizations.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to make a significant contribution to the digital transformation of Africa.
