We are seeking a highly skilled SAC Planning Expert to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our Data and Analytics department, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and evolution of our Amadeus SAC Platform, supporting the Amadeus Planning Hub.
Key Responsibilities- Automated Solution Identification
- Advise internal customers on business analytics services and recommend potential solutions.
- Collect and document detailed business specifications with internal customers.
- Solution Design
- Analyze functional design and propose technical designs considering impacts on existing processes and tools.
- Validate proposed solution designs with customers and solution architecture team.
- Solution Construction
- Develop or customize end-to-end solutions in alignment with Amadeus guidelines.
- Conduct unit, non-regression, and performance tests ensuring quality in line with Amadeus standards.
- Solution Maintenance and Support
- Perform L3 support and propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance.
- Secure adequate governance in a community of SAC superusers managing the Global Finance Template principles and industry best-practices.
- Solution Architecture
- Identify, propose, and implement architecture improvements.
- Configure data source connections and manage asset libraries.
- Team Engagement
- Assist, guide, and support team members in their assigned functions with focus on service delivery processes.
- Actively participate in all agile ceremonies.
- Deep experience in SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) with a focus on Planning functionalities.
- Experience with SAP-powered IT landscapes, especially the BI suite (backend and frontend).
- Data modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level.
- Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models, including networking and programming.
- Excellent understanding of planning processes, ideally in large corporations and complex processes.
- Excellent analysis skills in the area of Business Intelligence / Analytics.
- Financial foundations for projects (business case, budget follow-up, accounting principles).
- Advanced presentation and ability to summarize core messages.
- Ability to communicate, influence, and persuade peers and leadership.
- Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations.
- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
- Synthesis skills in order to communicate key messages to any non-technical audience.
