We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at SFBI, focusing on cancer genomics and bioinformatics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a unique molecular whole genome sequence dataset for hundreds of skin tumors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and analyze whole genome sequencing data for cancer genomes and in-vitro and in-vivo models.
- Develop and validate computational models to study damage induced mutagenesis in cancer.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Gustave Roussy bioinformatics teams to advance our understanding of cancer genomics.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field.
- Experience in human genome data analysis and a desire to acquire complementary expertise.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
