Job Purpose

As a Store Operations Assistant at Burberry, you will play a vital role in supporting the store's back-of-house operations. Your passion for the brand and professionalism will be essential in ensuring the efficient and effective management of store operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Control: You will be responsible for all aspects of inventory control, including receiving and handling stock orders from the hub or warehouse, ensuring accuracy of products received, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Supporting the Sales Team: You will assist the sales team in retrieving stock in a timely manner, including Omnichannel and stock pullback, to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Back-of-House Maintenance: You will maintain the back-of-house area in a tidy and compliant manner, adhering to Retail Operations and Standards.
  • Quality Control: You will conduct quality control checks on all products at all times and report any issues to the store lead.
  • Aftersales Support: You will support the aftersales process, including alterations, repairs, and personalization, to elevate the client experience.
  • Equipment Maintenance: You will ensure all stockroom equipment is working and fully operational, raising any concerns through the Ask services immediately.
  • Administrative Tasks: You will perform ad-hoc administration tasks, including answering telephone calls, responding to customer service inquiries, and liaising with suppliers.
  • Event Support: You will provide support for events, visual merchandising, stock taking, and other duties as required by store management.
Personal Profile
  • Organizational Skills: You will possess excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer Skills: You will have intermediate computer skills in core Microsoft software.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience with SAP is desirable.
  • Teamwork: You will be able to work well in a team and adapt to a busy team environment.
