Position Overview:
We are in search of a Director of Consolidation and Accounting Operations to join our Finance team at our Paris headquarters. This pivotal role reports directly to the Group CFO and is accountable for overseeing all financial processes within the organization, ensuring the integrity and dependability of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting: Guarantee the accuracy of monthly accounting and the timely preparation of annual statutory financial statements for all Group entities.
- Consolidation: Lead the development of the Group's consolidated financial statements, transitioning from local accounting standards to IFRS, while managing relationships with both local and central auditors.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations across all jurisdictions where the Group operates, documenting tax positions and collaborating with external advisors.
- Process Optimization: Standardize and enhance financial processes across various group entities, supporting the integration of new entities or regions.
Candidate Profile:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized business school.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial roles, demonstrating a strong command of financial processes and technical expertise in accounting and consolidation.
- Experience in both audit firms and corporate environments.
- Proficient in IFRS standards.
- Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and stay informed on technical developments with the support of advisors and auditors.
- Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
- A proactive, pragmatic, and adaptable approach is essential for success in this role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
