Back Market is seeking a highly skilled Head of Accounting Transformation to join its finance team. As a key member of the Director of Finance & Accounting Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the preparation of annual, half-year, and monthly accounts, ensuring a high level of quality in all accounting production.
- Lead an international team of 4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of accounting processes.
- Collaborate with external local accounting firms and auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement continuous improvements to accounting tools and processes, focusing on automation, billing processes, and management fees.
- Participate in cross-functional projects impacting accounting, including electronic invoicing, new country openings, and accounting internalization of subsidiaries.
- Manage a team across 2 time zones, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Bilingual in French and English, with 6-8 years of experience in audit and/or corporate accounting.
- Solid accounting background, with knowledge of IFRS and consolidation.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Highly organized, motivated, analytical, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
