We are seeking a Financial Compliance Specialist for a prominent operator in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Main Duties:
The focus of this role will encompass:
- Assisting the project team with platform integration.
- Deliverable execution: Contributing to the creation of outputs; configuration and testing of the solution.
- Project oversight: Scheduling project phases, tracking timelines, and ensuring deliverable completion. Development of a project dashboard.
Providing support to teams on compliance and risk management issues related to the project:
- Conducting impact assessments of platform integration on internal control implementation.
- Revising payment protocols and AML/CFT policies/procedures.
- Assisting the team with compliance initiatives.
Addressing additional compliance/risk management topics - Supporting the internal team, including participation in:
- Development/updating of operational procedures.
- Preparing documentation for risk committees.
- Compiling internal control reports.
- Managing incidents within the organization.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
Proficiency in banking regulations pertaining to payment systems.
Education:
A degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Finance, or Risk Management.
Experience:
Several years of experience in finance and compliance, ideally within the energy industry.
Skills:
Strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with risk management software and tools.
Certifications:
Professional certifications in finance may be advantageous.
